As announced in the Mid-year newsletter, the Board is holding several meetings across the state to allow practitioners the opportunity to review and discuss proposed changes to the WV Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
Meetings have been held in Princeton, Charleston, Wheeling, Morgantown, Parkersburg, and Huntington. Continue to watch our website for possible additional meetings.

WV Board of Occupational Therapy - Mission Statement
Occupational therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals learn or re-learn daily living and developmental skills, which may include dressing/bathing, feeding, fine motor, and play/hobbies. The primary purpose of occupational therapy is to insure that individuals achieve or maintain their capacities to function in daily activities at a level which allows as much independence as possible. read more...
